Welcome to the website of the Consulate General Office of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Kingdom of Bahrain is located in the southwest Persian Gulf and was one of the routes along the ancient Maritime Silk Road. With its long history, beautiful sceneries, developed economy, diverse cultures and inclusive society, Bahrain enjoys the reputation of the “Pearl of the Gulf”. Since Ethiopia and Bahrain established diplomatic ties in November 1999, the bilateral relations have grown in a steady and sound way with ever-deeper Citizen and Economic relations, mutual trust, and outcomes in practical cooperation across the board. Our presence here signifies the deep-rooted and ever-strengthening ties between Ethiopia and Bahrain, particularly in the realms of the labour market, trade, and tourism. Firstly, the labour market is a pivotal link between our two nations. Ethiopia takes pride in its workforce, offering a wealth of talent across various industries. Likewise, Ethiopian individuals are keen to contribute their skills and abilities within the Kingdom of Bahrain, fostering mutual growth and development.
